Masoud holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Yazd University, Iran (2018). He joined Loughborough University as a Research Associate in "Sensing and Perception for Industrial Robotics" in 2022. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sirjan University of Technology, Sirjan, Iran from 2017 to 2019 and from 2021 to 2022. Anas Shrinah is a senior research associate in the verification and validation of Smart Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) Systems at the Trustworthy Systems Laboratory at the University of Bristol. Silvia Terrile is a postdoctoral research associate with the Bristol Softlab at the University of Bristol. She pursued her PhD at the Polytechnic University of Madrid studying different soft robot prototypes (soft manipulators, soft grippers, bio-inspired soft robots, and wearable soft devices). Dr. Haoran Li received his PhD at the University of Bristol in 2025. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Robotics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Dr. Christopher Burns (B.A., MRes, Phd) is a cognitive psychologist with a background in individual differences, psychophysiology and research methods who obtained his doctorate from Edinburgh University in 2008. Chris has previously worked in driving simulation and medical training simulation (University College Cork), cognition, motivation and pain (Liverpool John Moores University), and automotive human factors (Warwick WMG and Jaguar Land Rover) and human factors in software evaluation (University of Edinburgh and Mozilla) using mixed-methods approaches including psychometrics, qualitative and psychophysiological measures. Anne-Marie studied Cultural Anthropology (MA) and Social Informatics (PhD) at the University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining Cranfield University in April 2020, Anne-Marie held research positions at the University of Oxford, the University of Amsterdam, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in Amsterdam, and the Rathenau Institute in The Hague. Anne-Marie’s work has been supported by a range of funders including the European Commission (FP7, H2020), the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and the University of Oxford’s Fell Fund.
