Saekwang Nam is a postdoctoral research associate in the Dexterous Robotics Group of Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL). His main interests are understanding contact mechanics created on a (human/robot) finger and applying the knowledge for object manipulation. Before joining BRL, he worked as a doctoral student at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, studying fingerpad-surface interaction. In addition, he has a wide variety of study/research experiences in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
