Visit to our Industrial Partner – Sunamp

Earlier this week a team from the Smart Cobotics Centre (Dr Seemal Asif, Prof Niels Lohse, Dr Nan Ma and Dr Masoud Sotoodeh Bahraini) visited Sunamp in East Lothian – one of our industrial partners on this project – to discuss the challenges they face and to brainstorm ways of how we can help them address these.

Sunamp designs and manufactures space-saving thermal storage using patented Phase Change Material (PCM) to make homes and buildings more energy efficient and sustainable, while reducing carbon emissions.

Despite flight delays and freezing temperatures, the visit was a great success and we look forward to working collaboratively in the future.
