Regulation, Governance and Ethics Workshop – 12th & 13th March 2024

We are delighted to invite you to an interactive, in-person event at the University of Dundee on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March 2024.

This event will be held over two days, bringing together a diverse group of participants to consider and discuss the understanding and impact of regulation, governance and ethics as industry increasingly introduces smart collaborative robotics (cobots) to the workplace.

We will explore the barriers and challenges that implementing cobots might present, and how early consideration of this can enhance employee productiveness, efficiency and wellbeing.

There will be speakers and representatives from a variety of backgrounds, including law, engineering, psychology and human factors. In addition to gathering input from academia and policy makers, the aim is to ensure that the voice of industry is now also included within the engaged group of multi-stakeholders.

The sessions will review current state-of-the-art within this space, as well as looking to the next 10-20 years and beyond, sharing the research and activities of the Made Smarter Innovation Research Centre for Smart, Collaborative Industrial Robotics.
